Składa się z pieca z poziomym reaktorem kwarcowym oraz zestawu pomiarowego z kalibrowaną co 1 ml biuretą wypełnioną wodą i naczyniem wyrównawczym z wygodnym dla obsługi mechanizmem regulacji położenia. Piec wyposażony jest w precyzyjny, elektroniczny regulator temperatury pozwalający regulować i utrzymywać temperaturę od temperatury otoczenia +/- 5oC do 1250oC. Oznaczenie wykonuje się w atmosferze dwutlenku węgla, którego przepływ regulowany jest zaworem połączonym z rotametrem.
