Specifications IBH Link S5++ 20284

The compact IBH Link S5 ++ converter is an advanced solution for automation tasks in all branches and areas of industry. The product is optimally suited for setting up Industry 4.0 automated production control systems. The device is intended for data transmission via the PLC-PC channel from a programmable controller to a personal computer. Its principle of operation differs from the traditional method, which requires the installation of a communication module CP. The IBH Link S5 ++ is an Ethernet-to-Ethernet converter. It can be connected to a PC via a hub, switch, or directly using a network adapter. The product has a D-Sub box housing with a 5-pin connector. The power supply unit is designed for voltage 100..240 V/AC and 24 V/DC and current 625 mA. There are five signal indicators on the top panel: LINK/ACTIVITY; SPEED; FOX/COLL; READY; BUSY/ERROR. Information transfer is based on TCP/IP protocols. The operator has ample opportunities for remote maintenance of the device - using a router, VPN or with direct Internet access. For control, use special software - IBH S5 for Windows and Siemens STEP 5 (version 7.16 and higher). Binding to the IBH OPC server is also available. Application programming is performed via the HMI interface. For Windows users, examples are provided in Visual C, Visual C ++, Visual C #, Visual Basic, VB.net, Java, Delphi, and Excel.
