These incremental rotary encoders with a 30 mm hollow shaft in a flameproof design are approved for Ex II 2 G/D EExd IIC T6 in accordance with LCIE 03 ATEX 6407. The encoders are available in seawater-proof aluminum or stainless steel with resolutions of up to 10,000 steps/revolution. The encoders are also approved for use in mines where there is a risk of firedamp (Ex I M2).
