Part No: To be assigned Reference old P/N: P15570 Dynamic Braking Resistor Assembly, consisting of resistors in a common fan cooled enclosure. Ohms: 1.0 +/-10%} Watts: 1200kW. Resistor Construction: Stainless steel punched grid elements, double insulated. Enclosure Construction: Outdoor Painted ANSI-61 Air intakes are covered with exterior louvered grates and interior stainless steel screening to prevent object intrusions and meet IP44 requirements. Air exhaust has functional louvered cover that opens during operation. Bottom integrated slots for fork truck transport. Insulation Level: 1200V Termination: Terminal compartment is integrated to front of enclosure and is rated IP66. Resistor termination to power bushings with NEMA 2-hole pads. Monitoring devices and fan motor to DIN Rail mounted compression type terminal block. Cooling Fan: Enclosure includes cooling fan (no controls) with bracket assembly to simplify field maintenance. Fan motor is rated 10 hp, 380volt, TEFC, 3- phase, 60hz. Thermal Switch: Normally closed thermal switch mounted in resistor compartment. Air Sensing Switch: Rated 300VA duty, 115 to 277VAC, 15 amps non-inductive calibrated switch mounted above fan assembly. Dimensions: 41"W x 42"D x 92"H (122"H with blower operating) Factory Testing: Hi-potential and calibrated resistance measuring, dimensional confirmation.
